Our goal is to reward those individuals who promote our software. However, in order to protect the customer from unethical situations, we may disqualify certain types of referrers. These situtations typically involve "employee referrals" and are considered a breach of trust. We will not encourage such practices nor any other attempt to claim an unjustified finder's fee. Read our Referral Program Guidelines below for a more detailed explanation.
DataTel Solutions
Referral Program Guidelines
Program Effective Date: 07/01/2006
Qualifications
A referral form must be filled out for the
Referrer and the Referee. DataTel Solutions is not responsible for the Referrer's ability
to complete the form. Please verify that correct email addresses are used as this will be
the primary means of contact for Referral Program communications.
DataTel Solutions will determine at its sole discretion if a
finder’s fee is warranted. The default assumption by DataTel Solutions is that
a finder’s fee is warranted except as listed below.
Ineligible Referrers
In order to protect the Customer and DataTel Solutions from
unethical referral practices, certain referrers are considered ineligible to
receive a finder’s fee. Those groups deemed ineligible are currently,
1)
DataTel Solutions Employees and their family members
2)
The Referee’s Employees and their family
Ineligible referrers will not be compensated for referrals
even if the referred becomes a customer of DataTel Solutions. (Subcontractors are not considered employees in determining eligibility for a finder's fee.)
Ineligible Referrals
An ineligible referral is usually a physician or group that has spoken with a
DataTel Representative and received a proposal or has scheduled a
demonstration. Additionally we will not award a finder's fee for self-referrals
or referrals made where the Referrer is the owner of the referred company.
In order for a referrer to receive credit for their referral
they must fill out a referral form located on our website. We compare the date
and timestamp on the referral form with the date and time the client first
contacted us for a demonstration or proposal. In the event that the referral
form was received after either of these events had transpired, it will be
deemed an ineligible referral.
If a referral is made for the same physician or group by
multiple referrers only the first referrer will be eligible to receive the
finder's fee; all others would be deemed ineligible.
In the event that the referral is ineligible, the referrer
should receive an email from a DataTel representative explaining the situation
including disclosure of when contact had been made that invalidated the referral.
Referrers will not be compensated for ineligible referrals.
Referral Finder's Fee
In the event that a valid Referred customer purchases
services from DataTel Solutions, DataTel Solutions will pay a one-time finder’s
fee to the Referrer. The amount of the finder’s fee shall be $250.00. The
monies will be dispersed upon receiving full payment from the Referred
customer.
Modifications
DataTel Solutions reserves the right to modify the Referral
Program Guidelines at any time. In the event that the referral terms are modified,
the modifications shall be posted to our website.
In order to participate in the DataTel Referral Program you must fill out the above form. DataTel Solutions will process your referral according to the above 'Referral Program Guidelines.' Your submission constitutes an agreement to abide by DataTel's decisions in operating the referral program.
